Become a Qualified Accounting Technician and member of AAT!
Fast track your accounting career with The Career Academy. This Program is unique to The Career Academy and specifically designed for those working or who have worked in an entry through to intermediate level accounting role, who wish to gain a formal qualification and recognition of their experience.
AAT is the world’s leading professional body for accounting technicians, with over 140,000 members. Your membership to AAT gives employers the security of knowing you meet AAT’s renowned international standards.

Approximately 300 hours. Learn at your own pace, but ideally, complete one module per week.

Professional Recognition

On completion of the Diploma, you will be awarded a Diploma in Accounting. If you wish to pursue the AAT Professional Membership, then you will need to complete the AAT Professional Diploma Synoptic Assessment which is assessed through a computer-based AAT provider.
To be eligible to pursue the AAT Professional Membership you are required to complete the AAT Student Membership within two weeks of starting this program, and you are then required to complete six AAT Exam Assessments. By completing the assessments within this course, you qualify for an exemption from three of these exams, and you must complete the other three exams on-site at one of the AAT Approved facilities to gain AAT Professional Membership.
You will receive a Diploma in Accounting from the Career Academy and this can be upgraded to an AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting if on completion of the Diploma you complete and pass the AAT synoptic assessment at one of the main centres throughout New Zealand.
